Roll On

This may not sound like Kid Rock, who's more famous for being a bad boy rapper...but it is. This song is one of my favorites from his Rock N Roll Jesus album.

This part is particuarly striking to me:

"And I swear that time's a trick
It disappears oh so quick
Man, I was just 16,
And now I'm staring at 36."

Ain't that the truth? While I'm nowhere near 36, I relate to what he's saying 'cause it feels like I was just in high school -- and yet my 10-year reunion is coming up.

Yeah...wow.
